- 1 bag (12 oz) tortilla chips
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup sliced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 avocado, diced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- On a large baking sheet, spread out the tortilla chips in an even layer.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the chips.
- Top the cheese with black beans, diced tomatoes, and jalapeños.
- In a small bowl, mix the ground cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle this spice mixture over the nachos.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a couple of minutes.
- Top with diced avocado, sour cream, and chopped cilantro before serving.
