- 1 pound salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges for serving
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill.
- Grill the salmon for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
- Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Serve with lemon wedges and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
- For a smoky flavor, add a few wood chips to the grill while cooking the salmon.
- You can substitute the salmon with other fish like trout or tilapia, adjusting the cooking time as needed.
