A refreshing honeydew lemonade recipe perfect for hot days, combining the sweetness of honeydew melon with the tartness of fresh lemon juice.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups honeydew melon, cubed
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 46 lemons)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices and mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the honeydew melon cubes and 1 cup of cold water. Blend until smooth.
  2. Strain the honeydew puree through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove any pulp.
  3. Add the fresh lemon juice and granulated sugar to the pitcher. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  4. Pour in the remaining 3 cups of cold water and mix until combined. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.
  5. Chill the lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
  6. Serve over ice cubes and garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves if desired.

Notes

  • For a sparkling version, replace some of the cold water with sparkling water just before serving.
  • Add a splash of coconut water for a tropical twist and extra hydration.
