- 2 tablespoons dried culinary lavender
- 4 cups cold water
- 1/2 cup honey (adjust to taste)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Ice cubes
- Fresh lavender sprigs and lemon slices for garnish (optional)
- In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
- Once boiling, remove from heat and add the dried lavender. Cover and steep for about 10 minutes.
- Strain the lavender infusion through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher, discarding the lavender flowers.
- Add 4 cups of cold water to the pitcher along with the honey and lemon juice. Stir until the honey is fully dissolved.
- Refrigerate the tea for at least 1 hour to chill.
- Serve over ice and garnish with fresh lavender sprigs and lemon slices if desired.
Notes
- For a stronger lavender flavor, increase the steeping time to 15 minutes.
- You can substitute honey with agave syrup or sugar for sweetness.
