Lavender Milk Tea is a soothing beverage made with dried culinary lavender, honey, and milk, perfect for relaxation.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons dried culinary lavender
  • 2 tablespoons honey (or to taste)
  • 1 cup milk (whole, almond, or oat)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the dried lavender. Steep for about 10 minutes.
  3. Strain the lavender from the water using a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth, discarding the lavender flowers.
  4. Stir in the honey while the lavender tea is still warm, mixing until fully dissolved.
  5. Add the milk and vanilla extract to the lavender tea, stirring to combine.
  6. For a chilled version, let the tea cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Serve over ice if desired.

Notes

  • For a stronger lavender flavor, increase the amount of dried lavender to 3 tablespoons.
  • Substitute the honey with maple syrup or agave nectar for a vegan option.
