Ingredients
Scale
1 pound ground lamb
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
8 small slider buns
1 cup Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Lettuce leaves, for serving
Sliced tomatoes, for serving
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
Form the mixture into small patties, about 2 inches in diameter. You should get approximately 8 patties.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the lamb patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
While the patties are cooking, prepare the dill Greek yogurt by mixing the Greek yogurt, chopped dill, lemon juice, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a small bowl.
Once the patties are cooked, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
To assemble, place a lamb patty on each slider bun, top with a spoonful of dill Greek yogurt, lettuce, and sliced tomatoes. Serve immediately.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the lamb mixture.
Substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version of the burgers.
