A refreshing and delightful peach lemonade recipe perfect for quenching your thirst on a hot day.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh peaches, pitted and chopped
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 46 lemons)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the chopped peaches and 1 cup of cold water. Blend until smooth.
  2. Strain the peach puree through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove any pulp.
  3. Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and granulated sugar to the pitcher. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  4. Pour in the remaining 3 cups of cold water and mix well.
  5. Taste the lemonade and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar if desired.
  6. Chill the peach lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
  7. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.

Notes

  • For a sparkling twist, replace some of the cold water with club soda.
  • You can also add a splash of vodka for an adult version.
  • If fresh peaches are not available, you can use frozen peaches or peach nectar for convenience.
