Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cups fresh udon noodles
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and cook for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add the onion and red bell pepper. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  3. Add the minced garlic and ginger to the skillet and cook for an additional 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Return the cooked beef to the skillet. Add the udon noodles, soy sauce, oyster sauce, black pepper, and sesame oil. Toss everything together and cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  5. Season with salt to taste and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add sliced jalapeños or a dash of chili flakes during cooking.
  • Substitute the beef with chicken or tofu for a different protein option.
