- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather all ingredients and equipment.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and pumpkin pie spice.
- In another bowl, whisk pumpkin puree, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle brown sugar and pecans over the top.
- Carefully pour very hot water over the cobbler mixture.
