  • ½ cup Chopped Pecans Omit for nut-free
  • 2 cups Very Hot Water Essential for creating the sauce

Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather all ingredients and equipment.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and pumpkin pie spice.
  3. In another bowl, whisk pumpkin puree, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until combined.
  4. Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle brown sugar and pecans over the top.
  6. Carefully pour very hot water over the cobbler mixture.
  7. Bake for 50 minutes, or until the top is golden and the batter is set.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for 10-15 minutes before serving warm.
