Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and gather all your ingredients and equipment.
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat for about 6-8 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the rinsed black beans and drained corn, then add the creamy mushroom soup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook over low heat for about 5 minutes.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese, setting aside half for later.
  5. Spread the beef mixture in your baking dish and top with the reserved cheese mixture.
  6. Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the cheese.
