Ingredients

  • 1 pound sirloin steak thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 1 bell pepper any color, sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cups snap peas
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Method

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sliced sirloin steak and season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the sliced onion and bell pepper, and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they start to soften.
  3. Add the broccoli florets and snap peas to the skillet. Stir-fry for an additional 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  4. Return the cooked steak to the skillet. Add the minced garlic, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir everything together and cook for another 2 minutes until heated through.
  5. Serve the stir-fry over cooked rice or noodles.
