Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups brewed espresso or strong coffee
  • 1 cup milk whole or your choice of milk
  • 2 tablespoons mascarpone cheese
  • 2 tablespoons sugar adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder for dusting
  • Chocolate shavings optional, for garnish
  • Ground cinnamon optional, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Brew 2 cups of espresso or strong coffee and set aside to cool slightly.
  2. In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until it begins to steam, but do not let it boil.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
  4. Pour the warm milk into the mascarpone mixture and whisk until fully combined and frothy.
  5. In two large mugs, pour the brewed espresso or coffee evenly.
  6. Slowly pour the mascarpone milk mixture over the coffee in each mug.
  7. Dust the top of each latte with cocoa powder and add chocolate shavings or a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy your creamy tiramisu latte!
