Cooking Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Melt 4 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with smoked paprika, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Cook in skillet for 6-8 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
- Remove chicken and add 2 minced garlic cloves to the skillet. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in 1 cup of chicken broth, scraping the skillet for flavor bits. Increase heat and let simmer. Stir in 1 cup of heavy cream and cook for 3-4 minutes to thicken.
- Add 1 cup of cheddar cheese and stir until melted. Return chicken to the skillet and toss to coat.
- Add linguine to the skillet, tossing until well coated and heated through.
- Serve in bowls, garnishing with chopped parsley and red pepper flakes if desired.
