Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons dried culinary lavender
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1/2 cup honey adjust to taste
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh lavender sprigs and lemon slices for garnish optional

Method
 

  1. In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the dried lavender. Cover and steep for about 10 minutes.
  3. Strain the lavender infusion through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher, discarding the lavender flowers.
  4. Add 4 cups of cold water to the pitcher along with the honey and lemon juice. Stir until the honey is fully dissolved.
  5. Refrigerate the tea for at least 1 hour to chill.
  6. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh lavender sprigs and lemon slices if desired.
