Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup Prosecco
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter 1 stick
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Method
 

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the Prosecco, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  2. Once simmering, reduce the heat to low and add the butter, stirring until melted and combined with the Prosecco mixture.
  3. Add the shrimp to the saucepan and gently poach them in the butter and Prosecco mixture for about 4-5 minutes, or until they turn pink and opaque.
  4. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the lemon juice.
  5. Serve the shrimp warm, garnished with fresh parsley.
