  • 2 pounds Stew Meat Can substitute with chuck roast, round steak, or sirloin.
For the Potatoes
  • 1 pound Baby Potatoes Yukon gold potatoes can be used as an alternative.
For the Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Tomato Paste
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce Use low sodium for gluten-free option.
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Rice Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Toasted Sesame Oil Regular sesame oil can be used.
  • 4 cloves Garlic Minced.
For the Vegetables
  • 1 bunch Asparagus or Green Beans Replace with favorite veggies if desired.
For Garnishing
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame Seeds Optional.
  • 2 scallions Green Onions Sliced for garnish.

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Grease the slow cooker with non-stick spray or oil.
  2. Add beef and potatoes to the slow cooker.
  3. Mix tomato paste, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, toasted sesame oil, and garlic in a bowl, then pour over meat and potatoes.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
  5. 15-30 minutes before serving, cover with foil and add asparagus or green beans on top.
  6. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
