Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup green onions finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise for dip
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce for dip
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice for dip
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder for dip

Method

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, green onions, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, black pepper, and egg. Mix until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs in batches, cooking for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until browned and cooked through.
  4. While the meatballs are cooking, prepare the spicy mayo dip by mixing the mayonnaise, Sriracha, lime juice, and garlic powder in a small bowl until smooth.
  5. Once the meatballs are cooked, remove them from the skillet and serve warm with the spicy mayo dip.
