Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan with cooking spray or line a baking sheet with foil.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, finely chopped onion, eggs, milk, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, ketchup, fresh parsley, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix gently to avoid overmixing.
- Transfer the mixture into your greased loaf pan and shape it into a loaf. If using a baking sheet, mold the mixture into a loaf shape about 2 inches tall.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the ketchup, brown sugar, white vinegar, garlic powder, and onion powder for the glaze. Brush half over the meatloaf.
- Bake the meatloaf in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
- After 45 minutes, brush with the remaining glaze and bake until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C), an additional 15-30 minutes.
- Let the meatloaf rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.

Notes
Chilling the mixture for 30 minutes before baking helps it hold its shape better. Use a meat thermometer to ensure proper cooking temperature.
